Looking for help in buying my first road bike.?

Hey. Im looking to buy my first Road Bike.
I don't want to spend loads on one, but I don't want to get some shoddy cheap one either.

I'm tall, 6 ft 2.
I'll be using this bike for mainly fitness.
I'd spend up to about £300.

Can anyone find the best bike for that price please?
