looking for criminal law students?

hoping to find someone that would be willing to read court transcripts and review a direct appeal before it is filed to see if in your opinion only if this is suitable or is missing some issues that should be addressed.this is for my very good friend he desperately needs some help i assure you he is a good person that made some bad choices but still deserves the rights he has not been given. he has recieved a 12 year sentence for petty drug charges i have seen murders and child molesters get less time if any for far more severe crimes he seeks to get 2 70 month sentences to run concurrent if any one has some advice or opinions to share i would be ever so grateful.
 
Well taking the advice of a law student might be marginally better than taking the advice of people on this site, but not by much. Get a lawyer. What you are asking is about the most difficult criminal law taks there is. To review a cold record and find the viable errors is a task for an appellate specialist, not just any lawyer and certainly not a law student or someone on this site.
