Looking for cheap ($40-$60) T-mobile phone

My ex-mom-in-law had an old, old T-mobile Nokia phone that just died recently. So, I am looking for a replacement. Being a rather technology-averse person, she is not looking for bells and whistles - in fact, extra features that would be a bonus for most people here would just add more confusion for her.

So, what I need is this.

1) Cheap ($40-$60) basic T-mobile phone. Used OK - so if it is between good obsolete phone and junky current one, I'd rather go with good obsolete.
2) No preference on flip or candy bar.
3) Good reception is a big, big factor.
4) No bells and and whistles are necessary. Bluetooth would be nice (I have a spare headset), but at this price point I don't imagine I'll get many choices with that.
5) If it is not T-mobile phone, something easily unlockable.
6) Something of decent build quality, even if bigger size. Some of the modern thinner phones would be completely wrong for her.
7) Something that does not have sound quality issues. Her hearing is decent, but not 100%

I second that. You can pick them up as Tmobile prepaid for 49.99 and slip your regular sim chip in that, should work, I have done it b4.

Thanks for your help, everyone. Appreciate it.

I picked up 6030 at Cingular Prepaid for $30, and it looks like unlocking it for T-mobile is not that hard, according to this thread. A bit cheaper this way than getting it from T-mobile itself.

Hey, when you added the phone to your cart, you have to pick a prepaid plan. What did you pick? When you receive the phone, you dont have to actually go through with the activation, right? You can just keep the phone and activate?

Wal-Mart has the T-Mobile to Go 6030 for $39. I'll "third" the recommendation. My daughter loves hers, and she's going to get one for her mom.
If you're going to use your existing SIM, you don't have to activate the SIM that comes with the 6030--just put yours in and you're set.
