Right now I am 21 and anywhere from like 10 years old to about 16 I saw my brother play this old strategy game I can not remember the name but here is what I think may help you name it. The game was kind of like discovery game, You start with your base which you upgrade and stuff, the graphics were top view (not sure if you could change them), you started with a scout and that guy would walk around the map and discover mountains and different lands. Another thing I know for sure is that the fighting system was chest like. It showed your units on one side of the board and opponent was the other and it was either like dice or taking turns but I know it was like chess. I think it might have been turn based game.
