The song was definitely sung by a woman. It was probably pop; a love-type song. The rhythm was a bit slow but tolerable. I remember the particular lyric fragments "...thrill of a lifetime...", "...the open..", and either the word "day" or "wait" stretched out by the singer, in what was probably the chorus. By "stretched out" I mean something like "daaaaaaaaay," or "waaaaaaait." Give me a break on the vagueness of the description; I dreamt it last night. I searched on Google for it, but came up with nothing.
The song is quite often on the KUIC (California bay area) radio station, which supposedly offers up songs from the 80s, 90s, and the present, just to give a general idea of when the song was released. I don't listen to that station anymore and looking through their playlist is too impractical.
Thanks.
