i've replaced spark plugs, cleaned the distributor. all the signs led to replacing the ECM, and we did but still not firing. i'm no where near a Mazda dealer & no other dealer will look at it. none of the local mechanics have the machine needed to hook up to to throw out codes. what else is there to check? checked all the fuses, chased down wires.
is anyone aware of a reset sequence? you know pump the brakes 2 times, turn the ignition off, wait 2 minutes turn back on, pump the gas.
Yeah, i know that sounds silly, but there are parts that get replaced that require such simple procedures to be done in a set sequence before the part works properly.
