Please help me to find an adventure anime/cartoon series that would be based on Ancient China/Japan times, would have magical things (I mean Elements, you know, air,fire,water,earth NOT those Silver Honey Cosmical Attack' things) and good character development.
No childish things like "supah dupah sparky transformation".
SHORTLY:
-ancient background
-preferably no magic except ELEMENTAL (air,water,earth,fire) powers
-adventure genre
-good animation (if possible)
I've seen >Avatar, The Last Airbender< cartoon, which I really liked (because of mix of wonderful characters, good storyline, use of Elements and ancient things, and humor), so I'm basically looking for something LIKE THAT.
DO NOT say W.I.T.C.H, Huntik, Full Metal Alchemist, Yu Yu Hakusho, Earth Maiden Arjuna, Naruto (too much action and too long), Teen Titans, Kaze no Stigma, Elemental Gelade, Rurouni Kenshin (aka Samurai X), DBZ (and soooo many more). I've already checked them and I didn't like them.
So, must be based on Ancient Times, with Elemental Powers (would love if it's possible) and it has to be adventure genre. And not too much of action.
