reason is have problem with back break on 08 reg translap and the honda dealers here in ireland are giving me the runaround and not accepting any responsibility that there is a problem with this bike. there is only 8500km on the clock and i can smell burning from the break and the dealer said i must be resting my foot on the break lever. this is bullshit.

Not too sure about that particular bike but I had a problem from a CB450's brakes. The brake needs to be adjusted to suit the weight of the cargo. If the pedal height is good with just you and you add a couple hundred pounds to it, the rear brake will drag. I had to loosen it while on the trip and tighten it back up when I got unloaded.
