Hi Everyone,

This is my first post here, and would like to ask some pretty simple questions.

I am looking for a new phone my major concern is I need something that can handle my contacts. I often add 10 numbers a day to my phone.

What I am looking for is

- Keeps a list of up to 50 of the last incoming/outgoing/missed calls.
- Has advanced sorting features such as
- Can sort by frequency of calls made/recieved by number
- Contact cleanup, shows numbers you havnt called or recieved calls from in a long time.
- Can sort by groups, but is easily switchable, for example Vancouver friends, seattle friends, business contacts. I want something that you dont need to push 10 buttons to switch groups.
- Keeps call statistics, such as number of calls made to and recieved by number, when last call was, when you added them to your phone book etc.

I know this list is a little demanding but it would make my life much easier. I dont care about super high res cameras, mp3 features etc. I just need good contact managment at a decent price. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Probably because no one knows of a phone that does that.

If you're into programming, you could probably write a custom app that would do that on a smartphone (S60, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, etc). But there really isn't much call for what you're looking for...which basically sounds almost like you need CRM software.

Well if this is your first phone, you need to answer a more basic question. Which carrier will you select? That should be the first major concern before you even think of a phone.

Look at the coverage maps but don't believe them talk to friends, family, classmates, co-workers etc. about which service they have, why they picked it and how they like it. Look at where you will be using the phone - where you live, work, travel, go to school, play, etc.

Once you pick the carrier then pick the phone. I would be really dumb to recommend a GSM phone when Verizon (CDMA) is the best carrier for your needs.

Im actually located in China and the carrier does not matter to me. We have 2 carriers here, China Mobile and China Telecom, all phones in China work on both networks. They are not locked.
