hey guys.. im really new around here so if i ask/say anything stupid forgive me.
im really new to the whole cellphone scene so i bought a v3x after my old cell was stolen. its a great phone, but the only problem is its not particularly compatable here in the US.. i mean, Cingular and T mobile use GSM but the only frequency compatable with the phone is 1900mhz, and i cant even use the 3g tech on it.. which reminds me, since Edge is a spinoff of GSM, can any GSM compatable phone work with Edge? as well as GPRS?
anyway, back on topic. i was thinking of maybe returning my v3x and getting a different phone, hopefully comparable to it feature wise, thats a bit more America friendly. any ideas?
Also, at the moment im with Alltel but i think ill be leaving them shortly. first cellphone carrier.. i got roped into it. Anyway im in the Tampa area in Florida, but im probably going to be moving to around Sedona Arizona in a year. just incase that bit of info helps any. i was looking at cingular, verizon, and t mobile in terms of network capabilities but theyre all pretty comparable in terms of tech it seems.
