I have bought myself an old semi trailer water tanker, so i can truck in water and fill my drinking water tanks at home. The trailer has been used as a fresh drinking water for years and has a lot of internal surface rust inside of it as it is made of mild steel and was not painted in there, Im thinking of using killrust or something like that to stop all the rust from coming back , but im unsure if the paint is toxic or non toxic? and could the trailer still be used for drinking water after i applied it. so does anybody know of a safe paint that i can use in there?.
