looking for a new phone with wifi...suggestions?

My Verizon plan is up this summer and I'm interested in moving up to a smartphone. I'm hoping to find something that will allow me to connect to wifi hotspots and check my yahoo based email. When I was at the Verizon store, they were pushing their dedicated service at an additional $45 a month. I'm not too interested in that. As for other phone features, as well as providers, I'm pretty flexible. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Not true, the Verizon XV-6700

is the same basic model as the T-Mobile MDA, and has WiFi. In fact I think the Verizon version might even be a little better than the MDA. They also offer BlackBerries and a Treo.
