I'm trying to find a place near me to go tent camping. I'd like to find somewhere that is free or cheap (since i'm a college student and therefore broke, lol) and preferably not crowded. Can anyone give me any ideas for where to start looking? I live in the Charlotte, NC area.
I also have a friend that would like to come along but she gets nauseous if she sleeps on the ground. Can anyone recommend a good air mattress or maybe a cot type... umm... thing? : ) ty!
