Looking for a good author of sci-fi books like Heinlein and Niven. Advice?

Asimov bores me. So does Clarke. I loved devouring Heinlein and Niven, but I've reached the end. I'm looking for profound original ideas--stories packed with interesting new points of view. Who should I read now?
