Looking for a Film Name

All I remember, is the end of the film.

An American News Reporter is on the TV and hes saying the end of the world is imminent, and as he goes on, the transmission enRAB, cutting to snow and then the credits.

I was so young when I saw it, I ACTUALLY believed it, and crapped myself! But then adverts came on, so I thought we were alright.

Any ideas?

Makes sense, being released 1980. Ill take a look.

Would help if I knew if it was Aliens or an Earth destruction that ended the world.

EDIT: Wasnt Without Warning. In fact, I dont think Ive ever seen or will see that film. :p
 
Actually, I only researched the 1980s film! The 1994 film MIGHT be the right one! Looks, from the Wiki description, to be correct.
 
Yea. Theres a really cheesy Alien film from 1980. But the 1994 one I have managed to get hold of, and will throw it on tonight.

I think its definitely this! Came out on DVD in 2003, and was only ever shown on CBS once.
 
I got hold of this film last year when it was in my torrent download cue.

I watched it and saw this for the first time in years.
Funny because the film was lissted under disaster movies list from a page.

I had this on VHS last over ten years ago but had forgot about the film
 
Watched it, and it was brilliant. If this was remade with todays graphics and technology, it would scare the sh*t out of people. :D Just a shame that a few familiar faces are in it now that Ive seen much more TV, rather than when I was 13/14 Years Old. ;) The Mother from Malcolm in the Middle. The TV Exec. from Bruce Almighty... Still, it was probably stuff for them.

Intense. Heart pounding and blood-pumping, even when you know its a film.

You're welcome. I must confess that after watching it for about 15 minutes when it was on tv a few years ago, I gave up on it.
