Hi, I am just looking for a few answers on abusing percocet and vicodin. I have been abusing both drugs for the past two months. If I cannot get one drug I go to a different doctor and get another. Now that they have that statewide prescription drug registry thing in place all the Doctors you go to can print out all the scripts you fill. I cannot afford to go buying them off the street. I think maybe this is God's way of saying that this is enough and it is time for me to quit. I am 32 years old and a Mother of three. I need to do this for myself and my kiRAB before this gets way out of control.
My question is how bad are my withdrawals going to be after two months of using these drugs pretty much every day? I need to be able to care for my kiRAB. I hope it will not be too debilitating.
I guess it would probably help to also add that when I do take these pills I usually take anywhere from 4 to 6 at a time of the 5/325 percocet or the 5/500 vicodin.
I actually feel kind of silly even posting on here and asking because I know that my problem is small potatoes compared to all the posts I have read on here so far.

Thanks everyone in advance :)

i did the same thing for years alternating between tylenol #3 ~ percocet and vicodin ~ i also had 3 children at the time and could not imagine being able to care for them "without my pills" ~ i finally ended up having some surgery which put an end to the "need" for pain pills and none of my doctors would write anything for me anymore ~ i had to quit cold turkey and though the first few days were difficult (shakes ~ nausea ~ and frequent trips to the bathroom) the fog started to lift and i have not touched anything for over 10 years ~ my advice (and hope) for you is to quit now ~ since it's been such a short time that you have been taking the drugs it should be a fairly easy process ~ good luck and keep the faith ~

Sherri,
WD is different for everyone. I don't think your wRAB should be that bad, but if you have no prior frame of reference, they may be terrible to you. try and taper your dosage down with what remaining pills you have left. try and see if relatives can watch the kiRAB for a few days for when you are done. above all, try and get support from someone else to help you through the rough 2-3 days.
