Looking for a book, it is a about a girl who becomes possessed by her dead twin?

i can remember the plot really clearly. i just can't remember names. She gets into an accident or something and it causes her to think she has become possessed by her dead twin. who drowned when they were really little. Anyways the girls starts doing all these crazy things and blames it on the fact that she is possessed by her dead twin. well it turns out that she is actually the twin that is suppose to be dead, she just surpressed the memory. Any help would be amazing. i think the authors name is leah something. i also know the cover of the book was silver.
