Anyway, each chapter starts off with the weather forecast - with each chapter talking more and more snow, but clearing the next day. But it never clears. From what I remember, its found out that the government caused the freak snowstorm but they can't stop it. The heroes of the story wind up converging in Washington, DC, only to be killed at the end by a massive collapse of the Capitol dome while inside. The end of the book has the snowstorm crossing the Atlantic and reaching France on Christmas Day, to which the French citizens are delighted, not realizing the snow will never stop.
