Long waits for picture mail

I finally got unlimited text messages and whenever I send someone a picture it takes like 20 minutes for the picture to get to the other person. Why does it take so long when I have 3g and they do too?
 
Larger files will take longer to go through the data network simply based on their size. It depends on the camera on your phone and the size of the file it produces.
 
X FACTOR is right, larger file meanes a longer wait. But if your sending pic you took with your phone cam, then it should not be an issue, one possibilty could be the single, make sure you have at 3-4 bars, not to mention this could an issue where it isnt you, its the reciever. Call ATT customer care and they can sort it out in a jiff !!
