Long-distance runner-need help developing a better sprinting ability for Indoors?

I've finished running Cross Country and am currently preparing for Indoor. I can run a fairly decent 5k time of around 17:00. Now here's a small (see: huge) problem: I am not a very good sprinter. I will most likely be running the 1600, 800/4x800, and occasionally a 400. How can I improve my times in these events? I can run between a 10 and 11 minute 3200, a 5:00 or less 1600, between a 2:10 and 2:30 800, and between a 70 ad 60 second 400. How can I get significantly faster in these events? I know its impossible to develop great fast-twitch muscles if you weren't born with them, but I can obviously try my damn hardest.
