London Film Premiere's

Hi,

If i would really like to meet or see a star from a movie. Do i have to buy tickets from the actual cinema to go to the Premiere?

Can you just be in the crowRAB for free?

I'm guessing you have to be there mega early but i didn't know whether you needed tickets just for that?

Can someone help?

Also does anyone have a site which lists the Premiere's coming up in London?

Thanks!

As far as I know you can't buy tickets to a Premier, I guess for security reasons. ( I may be wrong and am willing to be corrected).

Film companies tend to give them to celebs, film critics and people who in some way have worked on or with the film or competion winners. I went to one because the company I worked at did a competion to tie in with the film.

You can be in the crowd for free but for the real big ones you would have to get there several hours before hand.

For Harry Potter people were there the night before.

Hope that helps.

Also its difficult to tell what time the stars will arrive if you dont wait around for hours. I went up to the Casino Royale premiere last year. I knew the film was at 7.30 so assumed Daniel Craig wtc would be walking around at 7. Wrong! I got there at 6.30 and saw Elton John, Sharon osbourne and The Queen! All the stars of the film had gone in.

If you do get to go inside to see the film the director and the stars come into the screening room (sorry can't think of another word for it) and do a talk and sign autographs.

which is quite intresting.
