Im thinking of seeing a bit of it this year. the only thing i know i really want to see is Tim Burton on 29 october.

Anyone got any advice on what might be good?

Babel is supposed to be good
and the Richard Linklater talk would be amazing!
I have heard good things about 'Breaking and entering' and if you want to see Tim Burton you might want to see the childrens gala screening of 'A nightmare before christmas 3D'


I think 'Sight and Sound' magazine might have a guide in it this issue, the BFI website has a 40 minute recommendation video and The Times(obviously) should have a little guide soon.

Don't forget to check out the Raindance Film Festival, too, kicking off next week! Most of the films are less mainstream than at LFF, but nevertheless just as intriguing.
