Lolita definitely one of my favorite books of the three. There'ssomething about the charm of a web weaves, thereader mesmerizing. Language absolutetly gorgeous, so beautiful. For my English language gives such a deep respect, I have never imagine that the prose might be so perfect! Warped plot, true, but that topic. It's really fascinating, though, the perspective view. Take such an annoying brat, but still somehow endearing. And Humbert - well, he was such a pedophile, but so pathetic that you felt sorry for him. Some kind of tender story of lust and sex despite unromantic. It was a love story? I do not know is still not clear on the definition of love. Sometimes it seems like it could be. But love or not, it is poignant. Wish there was not much French there!
