I'm currently having an issue with my logitech usb headset, and no it's not a problem with the mic, it's with the headset's speakers. Firstly, I make sure my computer's volume isn't muted at all, go into playback and make sure volume isn't muted and is up to an audible volume, and go to test it by right clicking the logitech icon and clicking test, I can hear the test noise beep sound just fine, however if I use the headset on anything else, such as internet, audacity, any other program, I can just barely hear the sound, or not hear it at all, sometimes the sound comes through, but is in horrible quality, like in a wah wah type sound, but still static like, hard to explain. Please do help, this headset worked just fine last week, but decided to crap out just now, is this a drivers issue, remember I can hear the test sound just fine, just can't hear sounds on any other program. Thanks for your response.
This is all occuruing on Windows Vista, I tried this on another Windows Vista system, and had the same outcome, so I don't think this problem is solely my computer's.
