I just had an interesting experience with my T5. I had it in "landscape" mode (as opposed to "portrait" mode) and I did a lockscreen. When I went to input my password, I couldn't get it to work. I use a shortcut for my password, and either using it or typing it directly would work. Needless to say I was a bit miffed and didn't know what to do.
When I got back to my desk, I still couldn't get it to work so I did a soft reset. The lockscreen came up again, but in the portrait mode, and my password shortcut worked.
Anyone ever have this problem? This is the first for me, but I am glad I got it resolved and maybe shared a little bit of advice should anyone else fall into this same situation.
