Locked screen displays

Since updating to IOS5 I notice I get two types of locked screen displays one with a camera icon & one without the camera icon.
The one with the camera icon only happens sometimes when I turn on my iPod touch, and most times I see the one without camera icon.
I would be grateful if some one could explain why this is? Is it do with how long my iPod has been a sleep?
Is there away to have the lock screen with camera icon on all the time?

Your home button is registering a double click which is what activates the camera button on the unlock display. A single click will bring up the standard unlock screen.

There is no way to make this permanent.

Thanks, fully understood, I liked the idea that you could take picture from the locked , no problem to double click now I know how to get it
