I have no charge on my '87 Dodge Aries. The alternator has been replaced, but still no charge. I have a hunch the voltage regulator is bad.
I can find no external voltage regulator and have been told by one source that the regulator may be inside the engine computer next to the battery. Apparently, it is not replaceable if this is the case unless you replace the entire computer.
Any thoughts? The engine is a 2.2 TBI, 90A alt with auto and A/C.
