Location of turn signal flasher unit in 1990 Dodge B250 RAM van?

My turn signals light but don't blink in this 1990 Dodge Ram B250 full size van. I have been unable to locate the 'black box' [probably cylindrical] that controls the blinking . Chilton type guide shows it on far right of the dash, NOPE!, Other suggested left under the dash NOPE. HAzard flasher works but I haven't tracked down its location, from the sound of the flasher.
