Loading prl

Ok guys i am having problems loading a prl. The ext of the prl file is .prl when i open pst phone programmer for motorola phones the file ext are not the same. These are the steps i am following:

Open Motorola PST's Phone Programmer before connecting phone
Once Phone Programmer is opened, Connect Phone, wait for computer to beep like 5-10 times
From the File menu select Open->CDMA PRL
Browse to your PRL file and open it
Select write to phone
If Security Code is needed, cancel and follow instructions below
Reset phone
ALL DONE

Open any folder and go to Tools in the File Menu, then Select Folder Options. When the dialouge box opens, select the View tab. In the middle window under Advanced Settings, UNcheck "Hide File Extensions for Known File Types".

Look at the file again: It should have a .PRL extention. Rename the file extension to .RLA and you are good to go.
