Is it possible to live there without a car? I'm moving there in a few months, and found a great apartment on Connecticut ave. It is a safe area, is a block away from the metro, and close to a grocery store, some bars and restaurants. Parking in the building is 150 a month, and getting parking on the street seems near impossible. I am wondering how realistic it is to live without a car in DC. I am happy to sell it if that makes the most sense. If you have lived in the district, please tell me about your experience also.
