hi, ok so basically for the control group it would sound something like this: 100 types of 10 day old plant A plants (lets say thats what its called) are left outside in a garden for one week and are waterd once a day

The variuble (experimental) would be something like this: you have 100 type A plants left in the same garden and with all the conditions exactly like the control (i.e-sunlight..waterd once a day..ten days old etc.) but the only difference is they are near a whole batch of type B plants

This is because the control is something that you use to compare the variuble to so once the week is over you can see what regular type A plants are like and then you can compare them to the plant A that were not near the other plant and see if it affected it or not

know what they are talking about plz? If I'm doing an experiement on how one plants secretion affectts another aand i have a control group and an experimental group what type of data would i be collecting
eg- nominal, ordinal etc. and tell me why pl--- thanks so much
