Live in France bought a motorcycle in England. Cannot get insurance in France - because English no. plate. Cannot get insurance in England - no english address. Not got trailler or towbar.
The bike needs to be registered in the country you live in to avoid all those problems. You may ned to get it ridden by someone who ha insurance to the ferry or move it in a hire van. Once in france permanently export it there.
If you want to leave it in the UK and still live in france I cannot see anyway you can.
