Live-action Paradise Kiss?

I had to read the article more carefully but it's a Japanese movie that Fox happens to be collaborating with. Not an American live-action.

Well, this might work. Fox love to change stuff from the original score. And by looking at the review from the Manga (D-, ouch), Fox might give the LAM version to a C-.

But this is Fox were talking about. Even if the Japanese are handling it, it doesn't mean it will be good.

Um...did you even read "Paradise Kiss" or are you just making a broad generalization based off one almost rant-like review for a series you most likely have never read? Something tells me it's the latter.

The budget looks...cheap, so I don't know if it's a good idea or not.

Paradise Kiss might make a good live-action movie, but my real concern is if the movie itself will be fun to watch as well as faithful to the series. And as for the series being "horrible", that's a matter of opinion. I personally like the series and you shouldn't let one review decide your opinion for you.

Well you don't need a huge budget to pull Paradise Kiss off. It's about relationships and fashion, nothing fantasy or science-fiction about it. Girl tries to fit in with a group of fashion students. You cold make a version in any language and have it be just as relevant. All you need is a good costume designer and decent actors. I always said its animes/mangas like this that should get live action adaptions.
