Live-action Beavis and Butt-Head film coming?!

Honestly, I can't think of any real-life being that resembles Butt-Head any more than Heder does. Who else could they possibly get? Sheepy LeGoof or whoever Indiana's kid is?

i hope they don't screw this up. beavis and butt-head is my favorite cartoon.

this might even mean new beavis and butt-head episodes!

My question is: why did they wait so long to decide to make this movie? B&B aren't exactly hot anymore. This is similar to the blunder Lorne Michaels made when he opted to do a Coneheads movie 15 years after the sketches stopped airing on Saturday Night Live. Talk about striking while the iron is ice cold.

While that's not impossible, I wouldn't bet danger money on that happening.

Horrible horrible horrible.

No. Just...NO!

Part of the appeal of these characters is how they look visually. All Butt-head would have to do is raise an eyebrow I'd be in stitches. You can't take characters like these and make a live action movie out of them and not have something that's going to play like every other damn "idiot buddy" movie we've seen in the last decade.

Why not make an animated sequel? What's wrong with that? Beavis and Butt-head haven't even done anything new in over a decade. The show is barely re-run. Why the need for a live action movie?

Go to hell, Hollywood.

As huge a Beavis and Butt-head fan I am (still to this day, yeah I know), I'm kind of on the fence about this idea. By the way, around the time when the other movie came out, I heard that a live-action version was considered, except it would star Adam Sandler and David Spade.

And if that were to be so...Anne Hathaway. Seriously, put some glasses on her and the resemblance is frightening.

But, yeah, this is...not a good idea.

And, if anything, Coneheads is greatly superior to the SNL films that came out afterwards.

If Judge is at the helm, I'll give it a shot. After all, he did direct Office Space and Idiocracy (two films which both echo shades of Beavis & Butthead). I honestly don't care too much about who will be playing B&B since everyone and their grandmother can do an impression of them.

Heder sounds like a perfect fit for Butt-Head. Compare his Napoleon Dynamite voice with Butt-Head's voice. They're pretty similar.

Seann William Scott, though.. I dunno. He seems kinda buff, whilst Beavis is scrawny, and isn't Seann, like, 30 or something? I always considered Beavis to be 14, 15 or 16.
