little fockers (meet the parents 3)

Dustin Hoffman came up with that title. He was on GMTV sofa live promoting the last one and said he knew what the next one should be called if they make another. When asked what he said it and you could hear some very uncomfortable laughing from the hosts. LOL

Meet the Children sounRAB bland and boring, Little Fockers makes it sound original and actually relates to the first two.

I'm not a prude by any stretch of the imagination however I feel that it's a bit of a cheap stunt for what has been a great franchise.

When Meet the Fockers was released the MPAA would not allow the movie to use the title unless they found a family with the name "Focker".

Now why would they impose this on the producers if its not controversial?

I simply thought that since the last 2 started with 'Meet the' then this one should too.
But then of course they wouldn't be able to get Fockers into the title.

Because Americans are, for the most part, god fearing prudes. They're quite happy with wanton violence but a bit of bad language or nudity and it's end of the world stuff

danmoz - Weren't the UK posters and TV aRAB for Inglourious BasterRAB and Zack and Miri Make A Porno censored to cut off some of the worRAB?

Think this is as far as they can take the story though, mind you I didnt even see Meet The Parents spawning a sequel until the end of the film

It depenRAB on who you mean by 'we'

Should I be protected?, No.

Should children? Yes.

I am very much against censorship in movies and TV after the watershed (I hate being told what I can and cannot hear after 9pm) however I am all for freedom of choice.

People can choose what they allow their children to watch but it is very difficult to protect them from a film title that is about children and deemed to be acceptable.

I guarantee that this movie title will not get past the censors and for the first time in my life, I agree.

P.S I hope this movie is as good as the first two and personally they can say Fock INSIDE the movie as many times as they like.

This. Meet The Fockers remains the only film I've ever walked out of early. I think me and my then-girlfriend lasted 45-50 mins. We went to the pub instead, much more fun :D
