i probably would of put it in a jar, screwed the cap on and then sumberse it in my bathtub for as many days as it takes for it to run out of air.

Actually, black widow bites aren't even fatal all that often. They'll make you sick and cause severe pain and muscle spasms, but most people will recover even without treatment, unless they're particularly sensitive to the venom. According to wikipedia, U.S. hospitals don't even use anti venom for black widow bites very often, because the risk of a fatal allergic reaction to the anti venom is higher than the risk of death from the bite itself.
Apparently, the infamous necrotic wounds from Brown Recluse bites are fairly rare as well, and most people just get a swollen welt, like other kinds of spider bites, but when necrosis happens, it's nasty.
We just have so many lovely critters here in Puerto Rico...

If I recall, I was stung by a spider once, and it was running off. All I can tell was that is was black, and the size of a b widow. So, if that is what I was stung by, it just got red on my hand and hurt like a bee sting.
Nice centipede by the way. Scissors are handy with them. Sharp ones of course. Or gasoline and a match.
