lithotomy position post lumbar fusion

I had 4 major lurabar spine ops. the last a steffi plate and screws for spinal fusion L4-5, L5-S1 in 1998, am having Vaginal hysterectomy and repair, will the lithotomy position harm my back?

You should be okay, but just be sure your doctor is aware of your situation so they'll be very careful positioning you.

Thanks Emily, I had been quite worried as I have been thru so much with my back and dont want any repercussions post op.
