Hi, I wrote a paper for english and I have to analyze it now and I need help on knowing what rhetorical device I used here, example: metaphor, simile, hyperbole, etc.
"as humans learn to progress through such obstacles in life, like a knife trying to cut through a hard stick of butter, that while it can be difficult to do at first the butter will soon melt and you will easily be able to slice through it."
