Linux on Small Spec PC?

Hello, I have a small Sony Vaio PCG-C1F with a tiny specification of: 64MB RAM, 4GB HDD, Pentium MMX 266Mhz.

I was wondering whether anyone knows of an OS which is small, linux and overrides Windows 2000.
