I have EGR trouble codes and misfire trouble codes. I replaced ignition coil issue improved slightly yet still persists. Any idea what sensors may be responsible for both a P0402/3 and P0302/8 code? Car hesitates on acceleration from a stop but accelerates smoother while traveling at highway speeds, also the converter sounds clear. Please help me before the mechanic charges me more than the car is worth! Thanks!
 
Did you replace the rotor and distributor cap? both of those could very well cause the misfire. Also have you had a tune up recently? Bad spark plugs and bad spark plug wires can very well cause the misfire.
