Someone is offering me a Lincoln LS that has over 145K and a has blown engine. I believe it's the V8 engine. My relatives are offering to help me pay for a new engine, if that will help and make it good again.
I don't know much automobiles, so that's why I'm asking. If nothing else is wrong with the vehicle, does dropping in a engine bring the car back to life? Does the mileage on the car still matter or can I have the meter reset... or is that even possible to do? I appreciate some good advice on this before making a decision. Thanks.
BTW... It's a 2000 Lincoln LS.
