I bought a used 2002 dodge intrepid. When we drive it to the store and back (its the furthest we been, and its less then .5 miles) and when we turn the car/lights off the lights stay on. The knob has three settings: Off, parking lights, and head lights/on. The head lights stay on in the "on" position, they go off in the parking light position, but come back on in the off position. I thought they'd go off after a few seconds (like the inside lights) but they still stay on.
Then I tried to see what would happen if i locked the car (with the remote). They lights still stayed on. When I UNLOCKED the car, they when off. I'll still new to this car. Is there something I'm missing, or what?
When I stay in the car and turn the lights off, and they stey on, the dinger doesn't ding. (like if the key was in the switch, or i left the lights on.) I'm lost. Can anyone give me any help? Thanks soooo much!!
To turn off the lights, I have to flip the lights back on, and turn them off again (a second time.) Then they go off
