Turn singles work fine. Then I turn on head lights, an left turn signal stays on. The left blinker dos not blink. The right one works fine. Another thing is I step on brakes an lights turn on. There is a fifth wheel wire harness that we think might have a part in this whole thing.

This is big time electrical problem. Could even cause an under the hood fire. Trace all wiring --from the fifth wheel harness to lights to stereo. Check your fuse box too, for any possible short or wrong fuse size--whether too high or low. There is something somewhere in your wiring that is not grounded. Get this problem fixed soon -- for your own safety.

The 88 truck tail lights have a problem with the circuit board inside the tail light assembly. Take the left tail light apart and you may see corrosion on the board. If so, replace it. Also, the bulbs for signal/brake can cause this from and internal short. Replace both the front and rear bulbs and see if problem is gone. I have seen this problem many times in my 30 years as technician.
