Last night there was a huge thunderstorm and we heard a loud thunder clap that felt like it was right above our apartment. It woke us up and I noticed that the TV set in the guest room magically turned on by itself. What could have caused this? Can a surge in electricity actually cause the TV to turn on by itself? The TV is always off since it is in the guest room so unless it was a ghost, it must have been the lightning that caused it. Any ideas?
