Lightheadedness from mono?

I was told I had mono two months ago but the weird thing is that I felt perfectly normal (besides losing 25 lbs.) and would not have known it if I didn't go to the doctor for something unrelated. I continued to feel fine up until this week. Now I am EXTREMELY tired and have a constant feeling of lightheadedness. Is it possible to just now be feeling the effects of mono? I plan on seeing the doctor but can't make an appointment until next week.

It may or may not be related, but I have a new roommate who owns a cat and I think I am slightly allergic to it. I've read some things about allergies causing inner ear problems which can cause dizziness and lightheadedness. My only symptoms are the occasional runny nose, watery eyes, and trouble breathing (the most notable symptom). I take Claritin almost daily and use an otc inhaler to relieve the symptoms.

Just for the heck of it I started doing some searches on here about a prescription I'm on for acne called minocycline (antibiotic). Around the same time I started feeling dizzy, not only did I start living with a cat (allergies) I also started taking 2 pills a day (200 mg total I believe) of minocycline. I had been taking one a day before-hand for about 6 months and never felt dizzy. I've been reading a lot of posts on here that some people have gotten dizzy from minocycline. I didn't occur to me that this might be the problem since I've been on minocycline for a long time.

I think I might only take 1 pill a day and see how I feel.
