Lightaber question - please help!!

I'm really hoping someone can help me!!

I have just ordered my boyfriend a Master Replica Obi-Wan Kenobi FX Lightsaber for his birthday in April (yes he is v. childish!)

However, I have just realised that it is the lightsaber from Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith. He much prefers the original 3 films and I was hoping somebody could tell me whether the lightsabers are the same in all the films?

Thanks!!! :)

It will be the same.

Either that or there will be so little difference that he wont mind.

The only real difference I can think of is that the baddies in the last 3 films had double ended ones.

I have a red lightsaber (bad guys one) of a similar model to what you mentioned.

He'll love it, it's cool.

The replica lightsabers from the second trilogy are much nicer. :)

He's a very lucky boyfriend. I wish my OH would get me on eo f those. ......I got a vacuum cleaner for my birthday. :(

I bought my g/f the blue Luke one for the first birthday we were together. She then bought me the purple Mace one for mine. Is there anything sadder than geeks in love? ;)

I bought my wife a Jar Jar cuddly toy before we were married. She's in no way a SW fan - you can tell, can't you!

She bought me a Darth Maul toothbrush & holder. FrienRAB also bought me a mini Yoda and lightsabre. Yoda was motion sensitive and was supposed to track the lightsabre and 'train' you to become a Jedi, although that never seemed to work. It was, however, great for hiding in the spare bedroom when people came to stay. It would sense them in the room and start talking to them from it's secret location. "Dark, it is", "Sleep, I must". Brilliant!

I have one of these and he was great. I learnt the way of the force with his Jedi training. I became a Jedi Knight but have since slipped to the Dark Side. He no longer will talk to me. Shame. But the Dark Side is more powerful than you know.

I think perhaps I turned to the Dark Side early on in my training. I used to enjoy tortuing the poor little thing.

"Upside down I am" it used to call out for the darkness of it's dark, damp cell...
