I just finished Clannad After Story and I'm pretty depressed about it (yeah I know it ends well but the story to get there is just..), anyway now I'm looking for an anime or two with a lighter tone. I can accept anime lacking a real plot as long as they give a few good laughs.
-Doesn't have to be a romance.
-Harem-type is ok, but I prefer ones where the guy actually makes a choice instead of leaving it hanging.
-Ecchi/Nudity is acceptable (though I'm not specifically looking for it.)
-It can be just about any genre. (Sci-fi, Fantasy, Magic, School/Slice-of-Life, etc..)
