My husband joined the army recently. I'm just trying to find out what to expect as an army wife hes in the A C E and is leaving for basic in april. We have a son who is now 8 months old. I've read alot about how the army pay sux but from what I've found out it's about twice what we make now even before the housing. my main consern is leaving texas and all of our family and friends. (I dont have that many to begin with, lol.) everything is sneaking up on us.
