Liberals: why do you whine about how we should "respect everyone's differences"?

I always see these annoying liberal advertisements on TV about ethnicity/race/etc and how "we're all different" and "we need to embrace everyone's differences!!!".

When I look at someone, their ethnicity/race is not the first thing I notice. Which is how it should be in America.

These advertisements teach the EXACT OPPOSITE, and they drive Americans apart. Noticing nothing but the differences is what creates dividing lines. Why not embrace SIMILARITIES? If we focus on what we have in common, we will be able to come together better and become a stronger nation.

Racial consciousness is a uniquely liberal trait/value. This is more proof of how liberals/democrats love to focus on race, and are one of the main advocates of racism in America. They think they're helping but they're actually making things even worse (what else is new?). True Conservative values on the other hand do not teach such nonsense.

Thanks Liberals, for setting America even further back than we already are! What do you have to say for yourselves?

I agree with you one hundred percent, except I'm not sure it's a liberal view. Just as many conservatives say it. It's a nation-wide attempt at being 'tolerant,' when we should be 'accepting.'

I agree

acutally hes right the dems in the south are the ones that wanted to keep slavery going, however the roles of reps. and dems. have switched since then. but if you read your history the reasons the reps. (which would be considered todays dems.) wanted to end slavery had nothing to do with the slaves well fair it was for poor white farmers and to stop it spreading into the west.

and teen pregnacy in the south has nothing to do with politics at all

When I was growing up there were 2 kinds of people...Good people and bad people...You stayed away from the bad people because they could hurt you or cause you to get into trouble

Liberals want us all to be separated and placed into groups based on a multitude of things including race, gender, sexual preference, age, and even socio-economic status...and they have a tendency to disparage ALL of those groups, if they don't happen to belong to them...They are the most divisive people I've ever seen

You are right.

It was southern Democrats who wanted to keep slavery alive, who stood in front of schools preventing integration, and who have been reinforcing the stereotypes of minorities for decades.

For those who will give me thumbs down for this...look it up.
