I don't really want to go to a small liberal arts college, or at least what I imagine one to be. I want to attend a large school in the city and almost all SLACs (easier that way...) are 1000-3000 kids in the middle of nowhere. I already did that for four years, it's called high school. Unfortunately my GPA (2.9) sucks, but my "personals" and leadership experience make me a hot commodity for Liberal arts schools (the 31 ACT doesn't hurt either.) I don't buy the whole, "here you're not just a number." You're just a number in the real world, why should I care if I am one in college? So basically my question is does anyone know any good private liberal arts colleges that look more at personals than GPA, are either in a city or are large enough to have self contained fun, arn't super hipster/artsy/ a machine of liberal manifestos, and is well respected and will actually get me employed?
